Hi All
I have been living in Malta since February 2012, and loving it.
I live in Gzira, which is very central, although nowhere is far away in Malta.
I am in the process of looking for a part-time job and have applied, sent CV to numerous places but no luck as yet. Hey, but I live in hope and going for a second interview with a UK company tomorrow, so fingers crossed.
I am trying to learn the Maltese language, but it is not an easy language to pick up. I am understanding more but my pronunciation is poor, but at least I make people laugh ;-)))
I have brought my car over and discovering that, although there are rules of the road, no-one complies with them!!! I must think Maltese when driving, as the saying goes”As in Rome do as…”

I am looking forward to communicating with expats and grasping what life throws at me here in Malta.
Kind Regards to All
Lesley
