I wonder if anyone knows of availability of work in the beauty industry. I will be looking for a little work next year.

Hi, well I have owned and operated 2 beauty salons and I currently own and operate a B&B and beauty retreat. I would like to manage a salon, but I could as I do here as well work in the business as a beautician.

IMHO...I would say that we are over-run with beauty salons, unless you have some sort of totally unique customer experience it may not be a good idea to start one of your own. In defence tho, the maltese ladies do have a love affair with salons and looking good is a given. good luck
