"HOW CAN I JOIN GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM IN MALTA?"
in my case, join a really good one
I only support the team of the city in which I was born; my local team, Liverpool. I cannot understand when people support teams with which they have no real connection. Oh and I do NOT support England either.

You can only play for one at a time, you know?
Why do you not support England Mick?
Various reasons; Being of very mixed descent I don't feel 'English'.
I'm a very partisan club man and hardly watch any other team play.
I am ashamed to be known as English when I see the way many of their supporters behave, especially when abroad.
I'm part Irish (entitled to Irish Nationality & passport)and I was born in and from the Republic of Liverpool.
I support England for cricket though and the ROI for rugby, except when on Malta and Malta are playing
Guess I'm just a confused man with identity 'issues'
i understand i can only play for a club assist me with a club even with the lease salary or allowance i just need an invitation letter to a club even outside malta be it romania finland, austria iceland etc

I suppose I too have very similar feelings about national identity. Like you, one of my parents was from Ireland (the North, however) and I lived there for some years and still feel a 'twinge' when I see NI take on others in footy matches. I have seen Malta play several times and, although I already know the outcome, it has not stopped me from vocalising my support......but like most silly Englishmen around the country, I bitch and gripe about the England team but still put on the shirt (metaphorically) when they play......one day they may even come good.
i too have an identity crisis - but it only goes as far as north of the river or south of it...invariably and without exception north wins....

Arsenal rather than Chelsea then ?

wrong river.... in the south i would be south rather than north...in the above scenario...
i think its something to do with red and white shirts.....
with only one exception - southampton....
oh, so between Notts County and Forest :-)
i can see you can not found solution to my request
I don't think anybody on the forum can help you with contacts to one of the Maltese football clubs let alone those in other EU countries.
Try contacting the clubs yourself and look at the Maltese Football Association. There are agents in Malta who maybe can help.
I wish you luck.

Subtle Mick.....

If you don't like horses you could always try Newcastle united !!!
(sorry Toon, the voice in my head made me do it)

well actually that would work for me as the magpies would be the one
bonojo jamiu odutola wrote:i can see you can not found solution to my request
i dont think anyone could find a solution to your problem if am honest.
am not so sure that that is what we are here for
why look at forums???? applying to clubs would be much easier p these thing are rarely if not ever given to players on a plate.... try harder.

hmm nice one terry - what do donkeys have for lunch - 30 minutes like every one else..except on Malta its three hours.
voices in your head. are you sure it was voices.....
OK and sorry if this is a bit blunt but..............to all of you looking to join a top flight football club in Europe as a professional.
You are not good enough.
If you were, you would have been spotted by now.
If you have not been approached in your own country it is unlikely you are going to be ever good enough.
Concentrate on your education.
Somebody knows a friend team? or how things work with second divison teams?
Do the maltese teams make try outs to find players if the level is not very high perhaps one can get an appointment for a try out?
It will be fun to create a expat football team !!
Wish I could play for the nation and show my talent
Or if they preferred playing with bigger balls......
they could try their hand at this first.
Helping someone like me to show my talent will make you an unforgetable person in this world.because I know myself and I know that one day I will be like MY hero Jayjay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Ronadinho and so many of them. thanks
Go forth.
This is quite amazing (amusing) to compare Jayjay Okocha with Ronaldinho.

My name is redmik and I'm short and fat and cannot play football 'cos I'm too old.
Is there anyone in Nigeria or somewhere else in Africa that would let me join a tiddely winks team so I can show my skills while holding a can of cisk in my hands at the same time?
