I've kittens I want to take with me to Germany from the Philippines, however, I could not, for the life of me, find any site that could help me about the particulars about taking one's pet out of the Philippines.  Anyone here that can help me?  I would really appreciate it!  These kittens are to be my daughter's pets.

Hello!! check this site.

And i think you need to get a certificate from the philippines Burea of Animals. This is the most required at the airport before you leave.

Uh, what you need to get them INTO Germany is:
Rabies shots, a Titer test and they need to be chipped.
Go to your Vet and get all that into action NOW, the titer test takes up to 4 months until it's valid.

When you have all that, before you fly to Germany, get a helath certificate from your Vet that confirms in the pet passport with the shots that the shots are valid.

For clarification and to make sure that you don't need anything else, contact the German "health" office:
0049-69-69021366
0049-69-69074331

or the vet at Frankfurt airport:
0049-69-69074331
       -64502414
       -691506

And I had the best price for flying with animals so far with Condor.

Best of Luck!

This page is on the German Embassy in the Philippines website. It explains what needs to be done when bringing pets with you from Non-EC countries.
