Hi all,

Can a foreigner take the driving test in Sudan?

What are the formalities to get a driver’s licence in Sudan?

Do you need special or extra documents being an expatriate?

How much does it cost?

Thank you for participating ;).

How about license exchange agreements?

CartoonSudan

If you have a driving license from home, you are entitled to apply for a Sudanese license. You will have to have your license translated by an official body (the University does it), and to take copies of passport, residency, and three passport photos.  There's a driving license office, and you have to go there, fill in a form, pay - I think it's a couple of hundred SDG but can't remember - have an eye test, and get your photo taken. You get your license on the spot. I think the whole thing took about three hours. HTH
