Hi all,

Can a foreigner take the driving test in Gibraltar?

What are the formalities to get a drivers licence in Gibraltar?

Do you need special or extra documents being an expatriate?

How much does it cost?

One of the questions on the Driving Test application form is:-

Have you lived in Gibraltar, Great Britain or Northern Ireland for at least 185 days in the preceding 12 months

Someone mentioned to be to get that sorted before you arrive in Gib and a scooter licence as it takes ages for the paperwork to come through. That's what I am gonna do!
