Hi. I write this with so much confussion.  I would like to live in a town close to Florence and at the same time be able to tap into the English speaking tourist market. In other words i would hope that this town would attract such tourists.

The idea would be to buy a small villa which i can do up and run a small cafe targeting the tourist.

All help with location and advice greatly appreciated.

Aurélie

Hello raqatk.

Welcome to Expat.com!

For the villa, you can try to post an advert in the housing in Florence section. It can help. :)

Thank ou,
Aurélie

Hi raqatk,
I'm Francesca and live on Florentine hills.
I can help you if you give me more information; for example, do you can speak a little Italian? What kind of cafe can you up, for evening or day entertainment? The tourists would be passing and occasional or the villa that you want buy is also as a bed and brekfast or house-farm?
Excuse my foul English, kind regards,
Francesca
