SHORT BREAK

Post new topic

Eliza Bell

Hello everyone,
I'm gonna have a break in 2 or 3 days, I wanna away from the city in a while and visit some where naturally interesting

Could you please suggest any places for a short term holiday like this? Is there any place which is similar to Binh Chau? Vung Tau would be an exception since I was there twice
Thanks
Eliza

thanks summerdays, looks great, any other suggestions?
btw, do you know where ppl and teenagers in SG find "Đồ ăn vặt", like Khoai tây chiên, phở rán, phở chiên giòn, phở xào, nem chua rán, nướng, bla bla? I can't find anything except for Bánh tráng and Ốc, horrible xD !!!!!

hey, that's exactly what we needed. Please do share your knowledge ^^

Hi Eliza,

For a getaway of 3 days, you would probably want to visit one of the southern cities for time's sake. Any area of the North will require at least 2 days to go to and fro unless you choose to travel by air.

Some suggestions:

1. Da Lat - a fair mountainous city in the middle of Vietnam.
- Going there by bus takes around 6 hours. You can book a bus at Phuong Trang / The Sinh buslines which starts at 11:00p.m. Have some sleep on the bus. You should reach Da Lat by the next morning.
- Cool weather. Many places of interest.

2. Mui Ne - a beach town in the middle of Vietnam.
- Buses take 4 hours to get there.
- The beach is nicer than that of Vung Tau. Prices are also lower.

3. Hoi An - an ancient town, also in the middle of Vietnam
You should have heard of this. You can reach Hoi An by train (which takes 1.5 day and is not recommended) or by air (1 hour only).

There're some other cities that are nice for a short getaway but may not be convenient for a foreigner traveling alone. If you need more information or photos, feel free to email me at phong.hoang.do@gmail.com

Cheer,
P.

the reason why you didn't take part in the trip would be very confusing for foreigners to comprehend
