Need information on Schools in California

We are in the process of moving to the USA (Company transfer) and I am looking for information on schools there! Anyone know or keen to talk to me about this?

I am assuming you need information about elementary/middle/high-schools? You can check out ratings online (for example at greatschools dot org). Note that in the US your kids need to go to the school in the district that you are living in (might depend on state though). That's why if you look at real estate they always give you the school district and houses in good school districts are usually more expensive. Not sure how the rules are with private schools. But they are expensive. Around $15000 per year or term are the rates I usually see.
