Hello. I'm considering a move from Japan to Kuwait with a salary of 550KD ... Can I save after paying my bills and rent?...How much should I pay for a one bed apartment?... Any advice would be most appreciated. By the way, I'll be working in the Avenues if I take the job.

Your profile reads:

"I am an expatriate.
I am British, and I am now living in Kuwait. I am currently in Kuwait ."

With all respect, if the above is true, your question is meaningless!

Thank you Adnan. The above is not true and I'm not sure how that happened but now my profile has been changed and now my post has meaning:) So, back to the topic in question...hope you can help.
Thank you.

Hi there,

If you can find a sharing accommodation then your rent can be around KD100 to 125 or if you take a 1 bhk apartment the rent is around 200 to 225 in salmiya. food depends if you you eat out should be more or at home should be around 50 to 75. miscellaneous money can be around another 50 to 100. The rest all depends on you, if u like shopping then nothing remains.:D

Cheers hope you find this helpful
