Hello,

My mother in law came to visit the family from the US. She came here on a 60 days tourist visa and wants to extend it for 3 more months. She is from United States.

Any info on how to extend visa for a US passport holder would be really helpful. She needs to get it done before the 3rd of August.

She is allowed a stay of 181 days per yr ( whether she is from US or any other country - one rule for any alien)

yea its no prob... I did it for my father-in-law... i think getting Mauritian Visa is not that trouble... its so easy and instant
