I live in Banjaluka, and I would like to find a job as nurse. I have place to live, in Sliema. I will come there in August, and I would like to stay there. A hope someone could help me! Thanks...

Hi dragana,

welcome to the forum.

I'm sure you are aware of the fact that Bosnia is not an EU member state and an application for membership is not even on the horizen. Which means that you need a work permit which is subject to many conditions for non-EU citizens.

It could prove to be very difficult to come, find a job, have the employer apply for a work permit, be approved by the Maltese regulatory council as a nurse within the time that you have available. Make sure that your visa allows you to apply for work while in Malta. You will have to allow for up to 3 months or more for all the applications to be processed.

I don't think 'coming in August' and staying is all to realistic.

Try setting up details in advance. That might make it easier.

Cheers
Ricky
