Hi Krzysia26,

Getting a job and work permit in Brazil is by no means easy. There are very strict laws here about hiring foreigners. A company must satisfy the government that they have exhausted all avenues of trying to find a Brazilian who can do the job, only then are they allowed to hire someone from outside the country.

The best way to get work here is to contact a multinational company in your home country that has operations here in Brazil and find out if they have any openings in your field of expertise. If you are a professional or skilled worker and they have need of you here then they will generally look after all the details of immigration and the necessary work permit.

Best of luck,
