Visa for Irish Nationals!!

Post new topic

OneManArmy

Hello,

I am planning to apply to teach at international schools in KSA. I already applied last year to a school in Jeddah, but was told that they did not do visas for Irish passport holders.

Is there anyone on this forum that knows of international schools that do have visas for Irish passport holders? Or should I look elsewhere in the Middle East?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Just apply to all the recruiters and see where it goes (employers use up their visa allowances at different rates).

But applying outside the kingom isn't a bad iea.  Oman is doing a lot of hiring.

Good luck!

Thank you for the response Alliecat.

You're probably right about applying to all the schools and then seeing where it goes. However I would really like to know if there are specific schools that I should apply to as there are quite a lot of international schools out there. That would mean a lot of applying.

True but that also increases your chances of getting hired :)

Hi
I am waiting forever to get my visa as time scale through Dublin consulate is long due to necessity to get stamp from the Saudi Cultural Bureau in London. Can nayone tell me as an Irish Passport holder, can i have my block visa made out to go through the London embassy as the process only takes a few days that way once you have your medical. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks
David
