Hi everyone!

Came across this forum while continuing my "desperate to find new friends and new things to do" trek while i'm here in Kuwait. A litte about myself, I'm from the USA, North Carolina, here in the Middle East working on base.

I work pretty much all day during the week, however I'm finding it a bit hard to cope with the boredom of this place on the weekends, hence I reach out to you all!

It's my sincere hope to make some new friends, and survive this country with my wits in tact. I'm looking forward to chatting/meeting with you all!

welcome to Kuwait Jason, things are a little slow at the mo, but mid august things should pick up again, all teachers are currently out, which means the streets are relatively traffic free (no kids too).

Hi Jason, welcome to Kuwait. Just been to your Outerbanks last week and had a great time. Get acclimatized first before you start exploring on things that you can do in Kuwait. I'm sure you can find a lot(albeit on a limited scale), enough to keep your wits intact
