Families with teenagers

Hello,
Our move over to Mauritius is only 2 weeks away!!
While I'm happy that we've found great housing and schooling in the north, I'm now beginning to wonder how our 15 year old will socialize. Is this only through school? Are there other families with teens out there who know of any out of school groups and activities young people can join? Where can kids safely meet up on the weekends?
Looking forward to hearing some interesting replies to this thread.

Hi,
Welcome to Mauritius. I am sure your daugther will have many teengage friends once she moves here. Face book has been very intrumental in teenage networking.

My daughter too is a teenager and has made many friends to hang out in Mauritius.

Stop worrying....

Your daughter will be fine, might take her sometimes to adapt and get use to the people and way of life and in the end she will be meeting with teachers and making friends, getting involve in sports and in no time will probably be a celebrity in the school.

If you are in the North that's where a lot of expats are, she will meet other expats teenagers and your problem will be resolved...
