Hello Expat.com!

I'm new here so I don't really know how this is usually done but here goes nothing! :)

I'm getting a 7 month internship starting in November in Sydney.

I'm a student now and currently have $1,130 to spend a month on living (not including money that I get from the company i'm interning at)... is this doable?

To have a decent (livable) apartment in Sydney for 1000 - 1500$???? + food etc.?

Or what is cost of living for a student in Sydney?

Thanks expats!

Stay amazing :)

Aurélie

Hi & Welcome!

$1.100/month can cover the rent for a shared room and the grocery costs. And if you also get a paycheck from ur internship, you could handle just fine!

I'm an intern in Sydney too (i do not get paid :-( ) and I usually spend $200/week for the rent(bills included). My place is quite near the CBD but i guess you can find something cheaper in the suburb.

Hope my comment helped. ^_^
