Bahrain driving license

Post new topic

Ruelcc

Hi,

I am Ruel, filipino. I am two months old in Bahrain.

I have a valid Qatar driver's license but lost one Month before coming here.

I have saved a soft copy of this license and so with my Qatar RP.

I am planning to go to driving school soon but someone advised me to check whether a  certified true copy from Qatar Embassy will validate it.

Can anyone here tell me if this possible?

Thanks

VidoDido

You won't get a certified true copy of any document without having the original document with you.

You must have the original Qatari license with you to convert it to a Bahraini one otherwise you would have to go through the regular process of getting a driving license i.e. driving school, driving test ... etc etc. ;)

VidoDido,

Thank you for your comments.

In the Philippines, it is  not required to submit the original document for a certification/authentication purpose from the Government agency.Because what they certify is whether the document is signed by the authorized officer and/or the document is officially recorded.

In the case of my Qatari  license, what I believe is that it should be certified on its authenticity base on record not on its condition.

Original documents,if not officially recorded, are not true copy.

Again, thank you.
