A good map

Post new topic

Does anyone know where I can find a good map of old city? I'm tearing my hair out trying to make sense of the free ones my hotel gave me. I'm trying to find Namo Yoga & Massage on Moon Muang Road Soi 4.

Thanks!

Have you thought of using a good friend called Google Maps to locate.  I found in 30 seconds.

Yes, thank you, google and I are great friend and of course I looked up the address there, but since I only just arrived in the city I have found the streets confusing and difficult to navigate. When I am out walking around, I need a paper map.

The last comment wasn't particularly helpful and could be perceived as rather snide and not very welcoming to the forum.

OP sorry you took my last remark as snide because it was not meant to be but I guess some people are more sensitive than others.  It was meant to show how easy you can find info on the internet.  Remember many people in the world are not internet savy and I do not know the catagory you fall.

Please don't take this the wrong way but since you looked it up on Google why didn't you print out the map.  Perhaps you didn't have a printer available for device you were using but internet shops do.

Have you tried a book shop.  Most that have English language books also stock decent maps.

Another option if you have one of the fancy new mobile phones is download Google Maps for your phone.  This is the method I prefer and use.

There is a great, very detailed map of Chiang Mai.  It is available in several bookstores in Chiang Mai.  It's called:
Chiang Mai Big Map Finder Map.
Hope this helps.
