Eid Mubarak or Happy Eid

to all muslims-expats al over the world, when you are home or abroad.
Ho do you spend these days in your current country and what kind of treats you have or make to serve?
What is the different with your home country?

For me it means the first day visit the inlaw family: eat the whole day mamoul (cookies filled with dates or pistachio), drink very sweet tea or arabic coffee (wich I don't like). The children get new clothes from the parents and gifts or money from the family.
The second and third day we stay at home and wait until we get visitors or we go in the evening out to a fair or something.
I don't serve mamoul but I made something special: dates filled with almonds and covered with chocolat.

May peace be upon the world and may the misguided, those who hate, be guided to love and understanding.

Peace be with everyone.

Oh, go on then.

Today is an empty hole of a day.
Mosque this morning then nothing so far.
We didn't go back to the village for the holiday and the only people we know here, have.
That'll be it until the sister in law arrives later.

They're bring a lump of buffalo with them. Never tried that so a treat in in store.
