hi all
i am planning to buy a new car.
all tips/advices are welcome.
is souk jumma and saawani comparable car markets?
i have an unknown fear of being ripped off in this process. i am sure i will pay expat premium but how much, i am not sure....as car price for local will definitely be different than for us...
let see

probably Camry 09 SE or Hyuandi Santafe 09.
or a good deal on Toyota Prado 2007.

I don't think (buying from 11 June st) would make much difference whether you are a local or not.
You wouldn't get ripped off if you are looking for
1- New car (look at the mileage, not more than 500-1000km)
2- dirty looking- means just came out of port yard.

Try using the assistance of a translator if you must; ask him/ her to go by him/herself first just to ask for the price then you go to take a closer look.
