Good morning all,

Is anyone going to the Malta Airshow 29 or 30 Sep?? I will be there :) and hope to meet some of you, who are interested in aviation, there as well!

I will be in Malta end of Sep for 2 wks to arrange a place to stay and to visit some companies who might be able to help me find a job in Malta. It seems like companies do not bother to contact me due to a Dutch address on my cv..Any tips to visit are mostlikely welcome. Wish i had a job already so i could be there!

As I don't want to stay in a hotel, I'm looking for an apartment for 2 wks. Pls post me if you are interested to share place :)

Hope to see you soon :)

Cheers,
Norah

Regarding companies who can help you find a job there is the ETC, Keep me posted, then for igaming there is Pentasia and Betting Connections. You can also post something in the Sunday Times of Malta.

If you want to share a flat you can try the webiste justlanded.

Good luck :)

That was a very disappointing airshow wasn't it?
Lack of aircraft and lack of public transport.

It was not sooooo bad, but not nearly such an event as the organisers promised ... better call it ground show than air show ;)

We have been spoilt by attending (and sometimes participating in) air shows in the UK.
I know that it was not the fault of the organiser, as I have chatted with him but the lack of public transport (though advertised but clashing with Notte Bianca) placed my wife in a very difficult situation having to walk so far from the nearest bus stop.
The ground show could be viewed in, literally, 5 mins.
Anyways, here's hoping for next year.

I know its not the air show but I was quite disappointed at the aircraft museum hanger for WW2 stuff, as we visited there with my father in law last week as he had not been before (nor malta come to that) - but much of what was there three years ago has now disappeared...very disappointing - all it has now is the avro the spit the hurricane and a i think its a bofors gun...a memorial stone and a video show...a lot of the printed historical facts and photos and pictures/paintings have long since gone. very sad.  a sign of the times maybe!

Now that is a shame but I am sure that I have read somewhere that all the documents are being moved for safer keeping and that the museum is in the process of further development?
