Hi all,

I am from India, a software engineer and married.

I have a job offer of 55000euros per annum in Cologne, Germany.

Is it a good offer to accept?
What would be the monthly net salary after tax deductions with this pay?

Need urgent help to make a decision.

Thanks!

Hi Battuss

as single with no kid you have 47% tax

and 55K makes approx. 2 700euro netto.

since u have a family your tax rate should be a little lower.

55K seems ok for a start in Germany.
