Couldn't believe this antiquated, puritan attitude still existed, let alone imported in to VietNam.

Pedro, obviously not in touch with today's reality also commented:
Tonight I was in Pham Ngu Lao with some clients who wanted to visit the 'back-packer' area

We were walking down the road and somebody (a local) said to us 'do you want to buy some marijuana'

I was so ashamed I didn't know what my clients would think!

And then they offered us some coke which I think meant cocaine!

Guess it takes all types.

I'm surprised "Pedro" found his way from his house to his local airport to make the trip over here. Most people I've encountered with those type of "worldly" conceptions have never traveled more than 10 miles from home.

I think they know you
For some reason, it seems to be a trend. LSD, cocaine, you want lady, massa, boom ...., the sales list getting longer and longer. One of the reasons, I have stopped walking even short distances.

Then you have strange people who are not even relating to this millennium. There are religious groups here in the US who are teaching children that humans have only been on Earth for only about 6,000 years and coexisted with dinosaurs. They even have a museum dedicated to these "facts."

Up in Scotland there are Johover Witness fishermen. Their religion makes them come home each night at sunset.

The rest of us get to fish!

So people live in the past, some in the now time. Guess Pedro is somewhere else. Music! What next?
