visa's so confused :/

Hi, was wondering if someone could help me I have looked on the web a million & one times & cant find anything.
I am a UK citizen living in the UK, I have a job in Jeddah with a sponsor who want me to start work in october.
They are sorting my visa's etc, but I have had to apply for a new passport which will be with me on the 17th sept at the latest. I have my medical booked for next week & applied for a CRB check which should be back in the next couple of weeks.
Will my visa be processed in time & do I need to make a trip to the saudi embassy in London?
I have looked on the web 10 times a day for the last couple of weeks, but all the info I can find is for US citizens & saudis looking for uk visas...please someone help!
