Any Irish/Northern Irish people up for a cup of tea and some craic?

Post new topic

wannabe norniron

Hey there,

My name is Gesa, I'm a 29-year-old teacher and my first confession is that I'm not actually an expat myself. I am, somewhat boringly, just another one of those Germans this place is teeming with. I have, however, spent two years of my life in Ireland/Northern Ireland (Cork in 2000/2001, Belfast in 2005/2006) and felt right at home there. I've gone back a couple of times since then, but now that I live in Hamburg I need a more regular Irishness fix (or, you know, if you're from Northern Ireland and see yourself as British rather than Irish, that's fine with me too, just no sectarian bu**sh*t, please), so it would make me stupidly happy if one or two of you would help me out with this!

If there's anyone out there who'd like to have tea/coffee/pints of the black stuff (or anything else really, I don't want to discriminate!) with me, or go for brisk walks around Hamburg while talking away, or go catch an English-language movie with me, please get in touch and tell me a wee bit about yourself!

Hopefully speak soon,
Gesa
