Her problem isn't with the government (she got the visa), it's with the employer hospital) which wants more recent references because apparently the recruiter has taken so long the ones she submitted are now considered out-of-date!).

thnx mate ......well i think u should contact the saudi consulate back in UK n inform them about the situation cuz normally the issue is issing the visa because its the last stage n once issued its all done ...otherwise u should contact some one to deal with the agency whos in jeddah......hope u will get it way this

The visa means she can enter the country.  But she has to satisfy HR at the hospital she's applied to or when she gets here, NO JOB!

thats weired cuz visa cant be issued unless theres an acceptance from the hospital so that means shes being accepted and they have no objection for issuing the visa

It's always complicated when you have three things going on:  the government, the employer and the recruiter!

Thanks guys... Alliecat you're spot on... It's so frustrating. I'm still sat here waiting to hear if they will book my flights or not. I maybe naively thought that once I got my visa I was on my way.  Fingers crossed, it's been an ongoing saga since November!
