Question about ITV Ivesur

Post new topic

Pman

I have been abroad for almost 3 months now and I'm planning to going to back to Paraguay this week.

My car is still in Paraguay, it has a habilitacion from Fernando de la Mora but I never got around to doing the ITV at Ivesur though. I now heared that they decided to suspend some law and it is not necesary to get it done anymore, on the other hand people are saying that you don't need it in the city but if you get on the ruta the police can fine you.

Do I need to get the ITV done if I want to travel with my car in Paraguay?

Thats news to me, don't know anything about it and not planning to take my car to them and pay their crazy price for checking my car.

Apperently just after I left they suspended the law concerning the ITV.

As far as I know apart from Asuncion most of the municipalities still don't ask for the ITV when getting a habilitacion.

Let's just say still nothing is certain as far as the ITV goes. My money is that they are just going to delay it again. Lot of civilian resistance against it too, seeing the roads are such as it is...
