Good value residency fixers

Hi there - I am also (and still) in the process of searching. I have been quoted everything from $1100 all the way up to $5200 (!) and as you say, the main difference between them seems to be in the wrapping, though the cheapest quote at $1100 is from someone who doesn't speak any english (and I don't speak spanish). I will probably end up going with them though, I have enough assurances that they're legit. What's your strategy? What offer are you thinking of using? Ta

You might use any third-party but what is important that who does the job locally and paperwork are attorneys and not random "residency fixers". Cause in case something goes wrong or other documents are needed or issues come in the way the person who can effectively deal with that is attorney knowing well Paraguayan inmigration law. The best prices are from someone in this forum. But I am still looking for better. I think $2000 is crazy considering what I would earn locally. I come from Norway, that consistently ranks in the top 5 of most expensive countries in the world, and my friend offers full service for $2000, more or less. But the process takes 5 years and not 3 months. That said, the most competative price so far was through someone who knows someone. Here is a list that someone gave me of some names that exist If you have any names to add to the list, it would be helpful.

They said they will email me the price.

The website is mostly in Spanish, but they may know something about English, because some words are English. It doesn't say that they deal with immigration, but it is possible to ask.

I can give you the contact of a man who does his work with complete honesty and quality. The cost is approximately 1000€. But I can't say for sure. You can find out from him. He is a German national. He lives in Paraguay. I've known him for several years and know dozens of people he has helped.

I have nothing to do with his business. We are just friends.

But I can also tell you that you can get a temporary residence permit on your own. However, at least a little knowledge of the Spanish language is necessary.

If you haven't made a selection yet, as a US citizen who has been a PR since 2018 through efforts of one of the parties on your list, I can vouch for that person.  She is resourceful, experienced, extremely knowledgeable and know the nuances of the application process.

There is ONE amongst the ones you have listed here who has several criminal complaints against them and she preys upon innocent people.  We have received countless complaints against her and yet she remains at large due to corruption. 

We have concrete allegations against her and therefore she should not be on anyone's recommendation list.  Esp not in this forum or else she will continue to create new victims.

The moderators already know who she is.  It is a duty to humanity to remove this corrupt individual from your list of recommendations.  Or else she will continue to carve up innocent victims.

Before you malign individuals on forums, make sure you get your facts right and not on hearsay!

I do not know the details of your allegations but it would have been better if you had contacted me to determine if we are speaking about the same individual.   From MY experiences, she performed a remarkable job and the proof is my PR and cedula (from 2018), and until I find or learn differently from or through other individuals or moderators of this forum, I stand behind my statement.

Furthermore, the fact that you just joined expat.com in December 2023, and now you're suddenly in a position to provide counsel to others is absolutely incredible ?!  Additionally, I would not have made such an endorsement if I did not firmly believe in her services and expertise.

Can one apply for TR on behalf of my family members (ie I fly over and do the process for my family). Or is there a requirement for physical presence for TR  applications?

1) birth certificate (apostilled)

2) marriage certificate (apostilled)

3) criminal record (from last 5 years residence) (apostilled)

And head to the government immigration offices?

@ppy5 every application is done in person. No way past having everybody who applies present.

@expatmatch there is no requirement that residency applications have to be done by attorneys.

@ppy5 Migraciones will point you to every step of the process. Translation of documents can be done across the street from the entrance to Migraciones, and copies certified next door to her. You would also need to have your Interpol done, and a certificado de vida from the police station in whose jurisdiction you would reside during the process.

As I understand it, the documents NEED to be translated IN Paraguay, and shouldn't be translated in the home country?

Also, I assume a medical certificate can be organized at any hospital or doctor,

or does it need to be anything special?

@Wonderien translation has to be done in Paraguay by a court appointed translator. There one across the street from the entrance of Migraciones, and an escribana next door to certify your copies.  No health certificate needed any more, as far as I know.
