Hei Ray! I will be living in Colombo for about 6 months. My budget is below Rs.10,000 per month. I just want a place to have a good sleep, cos most of the time I will be working. Thanks!

Hy,Ray! I worked in Sri Lanka 12 month in 1998-2000, and I want to tell you that Ranmouthu Hotel is a good one!...in Colombo!But, be very carefully with your doc!You must negotiate for everything: in market, in bazaar, in shops! Be very carefully and do not eat on street shops. Only in hotels,restaurants!Use Bajaj for your trips in town!Good luck!Stefan.
PS: Take the doc and money with you! Do not use buses.Use Bajaj, three wheels vechicle.Negotiate all the prices before everything!
