Probably just a matter of time .
I love the conclusion:
"But the skin-whitening craze looks set to continue. The male market is yet to be fully tapped..."

Anatta,

What did I tell you about snake oil, Amigo???

Anatta

Dude
This is a well-researched, well-tested product with demonstrable, tangible benefits (punt intended :D), not like the junk you intend to peddle in Burma.

saigonmonkey

They all look the same when the lights are off.;)

Anatta

BTW, did you not read the end "include anti-ageing properties, so you can keep ... fresh and young". Something for own benefits ?

Saigonmonkey

No, no, no, no... You could not be more wrong. This thing, when used correctly, shines like a 100w bulb, sth the ad alludes to: "skin in that area become "bright and translucent""

saigonmonkey

Anatta,

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

There are so many more things I would like to say about this, but I think it would be better to discuss the next time we're in the bar, having a few.

laidbackfreak

Interesting to see it in the UK, there was an article a couple of weeks about it being sold in India was being advertised on TV caused a little ripple through the region.

A slight typo in your previous post. There, I have corrected it for you :D: There are so many more things I would like to see about this....

laidbackfreak

The article I quoted also mentioned the product causing international disdain in India.

Anatta,

I think Saigonmonkey already had the junks here.  Watch.  He is going to try and sell them to us.  I am all good with my skin color, man.  You might want to try some, yeah???

saigonmonkey

Anatta and Howie,
I was referring to keeping our conversation clean on this forum, so we won't be moderated.:gloria  On the other hand, we can say whatever we want over a few beers! Always more fun that way, anyway.

Anatta

Just to keep you updated with the latest trend in the region, especially for guys living way out there in the boondocks like Budman.

I think the name of the (male) patient Dr. Surat Kittisupaporn referred to is Howie. That certainly explains a lot of things!!

Wild_1

No, no, Budman!  Those are Anatta's things.  Quite a kinky guy, is he not?

I am good with my snake oil, Amigo. :top:

Howie

You are among friends. No points of denying categorically. It is OK. It happens to the best of us (or may be not ;)).

Wild_1

Talk about kinky...  What is going on with you and avatars, Budman?  Trying to get to a thousand?

I am getting dizzy, Amigo.

Wild_1

Anatta,

I will be your friend if you come and check the headlight on my bike, for me?  :idontagree:

Anatta

Ok
I can do the driving/holding of the bike and you can check the headlight.

Wild_1

Hey man, that is my bike.  So, I will do the riding, and you will do the checking, yeah?  It will be pleasantly brief, I promise.

Ashard Deen

I am confused, why would the locals want this? they are after all fair in complexion? Howie, when are you back?

Anatta

Ashard
The whiter, the better.

For your reference, the following is the gold standard ;). Pic of a rather famous Vietnamese underwear model.

I see never thought about that, the pictures were helpful ;-)

May be not in the way I intended, :D...?

laidbackfreak

Always fine this an odd situation. The women in the west with white skin always want to be darker, those with the dark skin always want to be whiter....

Personally I don't care what colour they are variety is the spice of life after all ;)

Anatta

laidbackfreak

This odd preference has deep cultural root, as you probably know. Traditionally, only people rich enough could stay at home instead of laboring all day in the field thus not having a suntan. Thus, white skin has been associated with higher class.

In the West, the connotation is totally different: association with health (and enough cash to travel to somewhere with enough sun to get a tan :D)

Absolutely agreed, yes I'm well aware of the reasons behind it culturally, but still the irony of it all makes me smile :)

Wild_1

Ashard,

I have been back for over 1 week now.  Just a little busy catching up.  I can hardly distinguish Anatta from Budman now, those two have moved way ahead of everybody, with their avatars and paper skins.  When are you going to join them, Amigo?
