Hi

I am considering relocating to the island. Am a frequent visitor.

One of my proposed developments is to start a karate academy - especially for little ones on the island. How popular is the sport and what is the current approximate fee cost ?

Hi Vince,
We just signed our son up for Judo ( tried for Karate, but they told us he had to do Judo first since he was only 5?!?!!). Anyway, we are paying 500Rs per month. He attends one hour lessons twice a week for this fee.  We are members of a club called Riverland. It's in Black River. I believe they have different fees for members vs non-members.  The fees for Judo are the same for Karate at Riverland...
Hope this info helps!
