Hi -- I'm moving to Addis Ababa from the US in November and I'm trying to decide what to pack and what to buy once I get there. Can I buy good-quality kitchen utensils there (I'm guessing I can, but not sure)? Also -- what are the spices like? I'm seriously considering packing a year's supply of Paul Prudhomme's!

On another note, can I get DEET products there? The International Clinic here is freakin' me out a bit with their mosquito horror stories!!

Hello dear friend, addis ababa is not big village. it is now modern city with more than hundrends of big international organizations, so many embassy's, alot mall and markets so you can find that kind of things you mentioned easly.
