Problems + Errors Here, Fix Now - Yet ... Ever ????

I havent tried to tell you the truth but will give it a go now to see if i can find any problems with it

I have placed a Picture and at the moment I received the following when I clicked submit.

"Picture successfully added! Your picture will be displayed after moderation by our team.

You can Add another picture!."

The Picture was 822kb and I  filled in every field.

I will let you know if i receive anything else.

sorry for my late response, I've been very busy with our sponsors these last days.

Please have look to the shared Malta picture album. And to the index page too (you should be the last uploaded picture)

The pictures you've uploaded and pictures of yourself (I mean personal pictures), personal photo albums are not available yet. I guess our members wouldn't really like to see you on their index page ?

Anyway, this should be sorted out soon (as soon and I recruit a new developer). We want to completely review our uploading system (which not working 100%) and add create both personal and shared albums.

    photos which are not owned by yourself
    photos with no apparent link with the selected country or life abroad.

I see RED ( lucky for me, I never had any colorblind problems ) and already know of those requirements but not one of seven meets those stipulations ??????

How, when I already have a profile photograph - I assume they know I just want the images to be loaded into the MY PICTURES section of my account here.

Sorry let me try a quick prayer ... Dear Angels Above, My question for you is how can I submit a file without it being considered for my profile icon or avatar because it has no other individuals in it but if I include any with people it gets flagged for recognizable privacy rules.     

Thanks that helped and the guardians in the sky have told me this is just a problem translating English into English.

The ( so called ) moderation team, possibly a BOT named Victoria is where the trouble begins and willing to wait a response from you when you receive some automated message rejecting the image from INSCRIPTION at Expat-Blog.

So far, the personal picture album feature doesn't exist on Expat.com. It's not that we don't want to provide that feature, it's just that we are still a very small team and we are doing our very best to improve the website little by little.

I understand but the link appears for it and then where are the INSCRIPTION messages coming from or Victoria. ( either way ... I get it - not working )

The PEProChef pictures are too hideous for Expat-Blog servers.

Following everythgin that Has been said, and now also understanding that there isnt a PERSONAL photo album yet, I will continue to use flickr for this.

So to allow you info that I have now received from our 'BOT' Victoria.

Picture of My Grandaughter
Picture posted up, no Errors, Personal picture with a face in it. Not essentially allowed in the Shared album.
Victoria came back stating "The picture you have uploaded on expat-blog.com does not fit our criteria. Therefore, we regret we can't accept it in the shared album"

Picture of Dwerja Inland Sea.
All details filled in as per normal, no real people in it that you could see faces. This is acceptable for the Shared album as its Pictures of Malta and the Maltese Islands.

Thank you for bringing this up ProChef as I honestly dont think people realised this.

I will continue using flickr for personal pictures that I want to post until such time that they have a personal folder on here that we can use.

Hi all,

I can't get it to work for me either. I reported it to Julian but other tries still give the same denial message. I am trying to upload a picture of Filfla that I took myself !

Just tried it again in the 'shared album' but just another denial !

I gave up on it but what I understand for my scenario is that the MY PICTURES tab seen at my profile home page is actually a link to upload community shared pictures of Malta and had someone ( Clearly ) explained it that way ... it would of saved me a lot of frustration with the site.

you're not doing anything wrong. There is a bug in our uploader, and we definitely have to completely redesign it. When we receive the picture here, it's just blank.

The very first job of the next engineer I recruit will be to redesign that whole module.

I am sorry for the inconvenience.

well, so far we've been using plugins, but as they are not really maintained bu their authors, it always ends up with bug
