Hi all,

My girlfriend and I have just arrived back in Thailand and are looking for a long term rental in Choeng Mon. We are here for 6 months (visas sorted, cash sorted) and think we would like to stay in Choeng Mon. Does anyone know of any condominiums or apartment blocks or cheaper villa residences within walking distance (1.5km) of Choeng Mon beach. As we have been to Thailand many times we know that being here on the ground and walking about is the best way to find places but any heads up so we can plan our walkabout (we're staying in Lamai at the moment) would be appreciated. Our budget is around 30,000B a month and we would ideally like 2 bedrooms and a shared pool.

p.s. we're in Lamai at the moment as we thought we may want to stay here and have booked into a hotel for a week. We want to leave and have somewhere before our booking finishes.

Why don't you try Panya House...see if they have something that might suit your needs!

from Chaweng, it's on your right..!!
