Hello

Hello,

My name is Ahmad, I am working as a civil engineer in Riyadh for more than one year now. I like to play football, basketball, travelling and discovering new places, one of the reasons that I am here. I have already been to Thumama (near riyadh), I also visit Alkhobar and Jeddah several times. I hope to find some people to share informations about activities to do in Riyadh, places to visit in and around Riyadh and why not organize games or trips. I am especially interested in discovering the desert around Riyadh, I've heard about "camel travel" and sort of lake. Do you have any idea about this?!

Welcome on Expat.com Ahmad,

I have moved the discussion to the Riyadh forum

Yes, The Camel Trail os the esdcarpment that divides Riyadh from the west where the old caravan route lies. Its a fascinbating place to visit. Ive been there ages ago in 1987 bvut never had a chance to go again after that.

You don't want to ride a camel--I'm still recovering from my 2.5 hour ride around the pyramids!;)
