Just new to the city and trying to meet as many people as I can and to make new friends
Going to be hear for 5 months and it would be nice to have some groups to hang out with during the down time.

A little bit of both. I needed a little change of pace from the US, so I'm giving VN a try. "No risk no reward". Right now i'm just soaking in the city and getting use to the lifestyle. I'm redoing my resume in the meantime and job hunting in the beginning of dec.

I would like to meet up this weekend, but unfortunately I will be visiting a friend in Thailand on Thursday and will be back next Wednesday. I'll take a rain check though. PM me and if your free next week we'll garb some coffee K.

I was in the same situation like yourself about 2 years ago. Now, everything turned out perfectly as I planned. I am currently working and in my spare time, I do some English teaching, doing my part in helping the community the best I can. I am really glad to meet fellow Californian like yourself!
