Why so much of traffic in KSA forum ?

No one knows the exact reasons: Many say that it's coz of lack of activities. We don't have other things to do j/k

You missed one very important option:  we have nothing else to do

Also, information is extremely difficult to come by in KSA.  They're always changing laws here -- or what is done for one person isn't done for the next  -- or you don't get the full story.  Nobody knows what's going on most of the time and everything requires 2, 3, 4, even 5 attempts to get something done because when you're given directions, steps are always left out.

For example, an official will tell you to go someplace for whatever.  You take time off work--take a cab--get there--and find out you were supposed to bring pictures with you!  Or you find out that the guy who does what you need done is on annual leave and nobody else will take care of it--they tell you to come back in 3 weeks, no matter how urgent the matter is.

Pity the poor people with complex visa problems (and bless TLL for his knowledge of the in's and out's)!

Why I asked this question was becoz whenever I see EB for KSA forum after a gap of 12 hrs there is so much of things written and shared as compared to other locations. It is nice to read and go through all the info. But at times the sad part is the topics are "0off topic". I guess that keeps the spice going.

If we were always 'on topic,' it would be like we were machines.  We're just an unpaid group of people trying to perform a service and have a bit of fun at the same time.  If you notice, it's usually the 'bit of fun' that's off topic

It turns out the KSA forum is more fun than the actual city and  other forums are flat out boring. I'm also here because of a weird and entertaining cat.

But what of the amazing twisting tongue? That is super cool...
