An abbaya can be worn over an kind of clothes, I will advise you not keep on wearing your nice clothes under it because they will start having black clour on them, why saudia you will hate it there why dont you live as you are in the U,A,E if you can find an opportunity there you will thank me. Be leave me as a local from the UAE when I go to Saudia I go to makka to omra and leave it has nothing at all its so boring and your not aloud to have your freedom. A lady in saudi unfortunately is not respected and has no value.

My suggestion is  to look for another opportunity also if it in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman is beautiful but you wont a good salary.

My guess is that you can find an Abaya shop in the Dubai airport or in any mall that is near. There is usually multiple shops in a mall that sell Abayas (at least from what I have seen in my first week in Jeddah :) )
Be sure to have a scarf for your hair for just in case. I think you will need it in Riyadh more than Jeddah as I have not had to use mine yet, but always keep stashed in my purse if needed.
