Looking to make friends in Shenzhen

I moved to Shenzhen in July. I'm currently in the Longgang district. I know that's a bit removed from all the expats and I've been having a hard time meeting other foreigners to speak with. As a results, I don't have any foreign friends in China. I'm not too much into the bar and club scene but I enjoy everything else under the sun.

I'm a female, Chinese-born Canadian from Montreal. I can speak French and English. I have basic conversational Mandarin skills. I'm currently working as an English teacher and have Mondays off. On these days, I like to travel a little. I've been to Hong Kong three times already and want to go to Macau, Zhuhai, Guangzhou and Dongguan. I booked a flight to Seoul and Taipei for Chinese New Year, so if anyone is headed that way. Let me know.
