Hey - help finding somewhere to live!

Hi all! I've just joined this forum today -but it looks like a great place to meet people in Beijing!

I'm moving to Beijing on 18th of Jan for approx 6 months - I'm a 21 year old student from the UK and will need somewhere to live so am looking to rent a room in an apartment. I've seen various adverts and classifieds on the net on websites like thebeijinger.com but nothing too comprehensive. I've been recommended (as a student who likes to socialise/party) to live in/around the Sanli Tun area.

Can anyone help me with where to look to find somewhere there, either before I arrive on the Internet or once I'm in Beijing (if there are any agencies)?
