Newbie here. I've been living here in Riyadh for a year now and I just wanted to add spice to my life here. As you know, life here is kinda boring. Ahehehe Hope to meet new friends here at expat-blog.

Welcome to e-b!! This place (and any other place for that matter) is what you make of it. I constantly read comments here on the blog about people being bored ... well - I said it once ... my grandmother used to tell us kids when we complained about being bored .. she would say ... you kids are bored because you all are BORING!! Now go outside and play.

So following my grandmother's advise - go outside and play!!!

Hi all,would any one know what kind of dish receiver/subscription will get most of the American channels especially CNN,and BBC news.

Get the MBC one, its cheap and gets all the news channels. If you want the really good stuff get the Showtime dish.
