Hi

My name is Myherla, i'm Indonesian and live at Jakarta. I need a few information about visa and regulation for marry with Iranian men. My fiance from Shiraz, Iran. we planing to marry at jakarta soon after he come here. But we were confused to get a marriage license and authorization to stay in Jakarta for my future husband.

I've tried to send an email to the Iranian embassy in Jakarta and the Indonesian embassy in Teheran to try to get information about our problems, but to this day have not received an answer from the embassy.

I hope through this forum there that can help to give us the information we need regarding this issue ..

Thank you
Myherla

Hi
I wish you and your fiancé the best. As you might know by now, Iranian consulates, embassies or government offices don't reply accurately on the phone and they don't reply to emails. You have to go there. Please take a paper and pen with you because the lists of required documents might be long.
Regards,
Hamid

You need to contact the Indonesian Embassy. You will be applying for a Spousal Visa, most likely. This may or may not be the same in your country as petitioning for a Permanent Residency Visa for your spouse. Being married makes the process relatively simple and straight forward. You will need a lot of documents, certified copies of them, and time. Your embassy will tell you all of what you need to complete the process. Most of this information is available on your own immigration website.
