Hello Lauren.

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

So as to make it more visible, your post has been moved to the Jeddah forum.

You can take a look to :
1. This thread => Doctor/Hospital recommendation for Pregnancy in Jeddah
2. This page => Nursery and kindergarten in Jeddah.

Concerning the nanny/maid, you should post an advert in the Personal and Household services category in the Jobs in Jeddah section. It could help.

You can find some informations by browsing the other threads on the Jeddah forum as well.

Thank you,
Aurélie

Hi Lauren,

Congratulations for the coming baby! International Medical Center also knows as IMC, I have heard is the best.

You can place an ad on Expatriates for maid/nanny, mostly people hire from there, but safest will be to employ from a company directly (which is rare).

For information on nurseries please check your inbox.

The areas like Al-Hamra, Bawadi, Rawdah, Falaseteen street etc are nice but it also depends on your lifestyle. I like to live in a commercial area, so I stay in Bawadi.

Hope I was of some help to you. I just moved from Dubai to Jeddah as well, miss driving! haha.

Goodluck,
Aicha
