TImes when you are not proud of your nationality

Post new topic

peridot_green

This week, I felt that I was not proud of my nationality because of the wrong doings of my fellow nationality. I do not know if their actions are wrong or not. I am not here to judge them but there is within me that is nor really proud of what they have done. THough, I pity them because for me they were being used. What I hate  most is that people think of them as just nothing to the society and yet they still show to people that they are nothing by lowering down their dignity. We should be responsible to our actions when we are not in our own country because a reflection of one person is a reflection of all your fellow nationality.

It's not politics that I am talking about.

pilipinas

what happened?

peridot_green

Just something that people are doing that you are not proud of. Might be good for them but not for me!

can you elaborate so people can relate?  if you wish not to reveal specifics and/or you're just venting out your frustrations that's fine by me :)

hope you feel better

Interesting!

One wonders what on earth has happened or who did what to whom when to start this posting.

Hmm - Not politics related.

Something here in Beijing?

I've not heard any news of Filipino axe-murders / serial rapists or drug dealers running amok on the streets of Beijing.

@ peridot_green if it helps you I know a number of Filipinos and they all are great people.

So not sure what you are talking about but don't let one bad apple ruin your day.
