I've been offer an engineering position in Vung Tau. However, the job is only last for 3-6 months according to the contract. I will be paid as per hourly basis.. Any idea?

There are lots of mechanical engineers locally and they speak and write Vietnamese, do you? If you are looking for high paying job, then forget it as unless you got special skills or experience not available here, very faint chance for a job offer. There again, unless you have 'special connections' then that's another matter altogether.
