Moving alone to Ecuador

Hello
My name is Kelly and i am quite new here. I am seeking information from those more knowledgeable regarding Ecuador than I am.
I am still working part time as a nurse while living in
Arizona and running my feline retirement home.
I have lived in France and relish the chance to relocate to another country and discover and live a new culture.
As a single woman I am wondering if it is easy to do it by ones self..
I would love to meet and communicate with others that have done the same thing.
I look forward to hearing back.
