Hello everyone. I need to buy some new clothes and shoes for my 5 years old, who is growing fast.  I do not want designer brands, but  I prefer his clothes plain and good quality preferably without tacky pictures and embroidery.

We moved here from Czech Republic, where charity shops are rare, but they have a shop type, which they call bazar (I do not know if there is an English expression for this type), where they will sell your used but good quality children clothes, toys, books for a small fee and they were great source of everything what a child need. Is  there anything similar here?

Any suggestions where to buy shoes, sport  shoes for children. Anything similar as Decatlon?

Thank you

Evi

hi,
the cheapest shop i found so far that matches probably what you'r looking for is oviesse but they don't do shoes, they have a clarks section in their shop which is still expensive. In oviesse you will find good quality clothes at reasonable price, i got tracksuits for my boy at 11 euro without sales.

Hi  Giuseppina, thank you for the suggestion. I will check it today. Someone suggested Tiptoes for shoes. Evi

JB stores in Inklin sometimes have plain tshirts at a good price. Or you could try Next or Zara tin Sliema too.

Some very good sale discounts available now on Children's clothing in many shops in Sliema.
