Hi guys, could anyone guide me where to possibly find suppliers of business work stations.
As usual price is a constraint so the cheaper the better, appreciate the help.

Hello

If you have been unable to find exactly what you are looking for perhaps I can assist. Wife has a furniture factory and we have our own furniture designers.

Let me know what you are looking for and can arrange a visit

Best Regards

Obviously you have something in mind, so why not use Google (images) to locate one?

Just make sure it's not sized for midgets/short people/economy.

Then have the frame made from Inox/stainless steel (as cheap as steel) and comparable to wood in price. Strong, adaptable (easy to add a 'feature' (welding).

The 'flat' surfaces can be of composition 'wood' materials and bolted to the frame.

You might need drawer underneath, shelves with sliders (for a printer), shelves above the work surface - all  easily done. I know where the sliders and drawers re sold in TP HCM.

Ignore frame style. The added shelving is a breeze in s/steel. The leg vertical sockets are extended above the work-surface by 5cm and the shelving extensions simply 'plug in'.

Adding plates (oblongs for s/steel sheet) on to which power and LAN hardware keeps things neat.

Even the desk height can be customised (VNese versus Foreigners) simply by having leg extensions added to the tops of legs.

All these can be made collapsible, as in flat-pack (think Ikea)(a great source for design ideas), as the legs are bolted together. It's advisable to use a cross member for stability.

If you look at Ikea us the Denmark catalogue section < http://www.ikea.com/dk/da/catalog/categ … ces/20649/ > as it has a wider selection of ideas (North American much more limited). You are looking for pictures so you can ignore the language.

It's what we did in our office - works great.

P.S. Because of some Chinese wood eating beetle doesn't respect borders, you have to use either hardwood or composition 'wood' (mainly glue with wood chips) to deter them. Using hardwoods are a hell of a waste of money/ecology if used for utility furniture, besides much of it is stolen from the forests.

Do you need them?

Hi,

I am interested in how you go.

I would like a basic 4 post/plain desk with normal height. Nothing fancy....

James
