I want to drive down from Massachusetts, USA, with my few belongings--clothes, a few books. I gave away all my property in Costa Rica. Tired of paying for shipping.
So are there ferries from LA, TEX to Yucatan?

There has been positive talks about starting a ferry service between Tampa, FL and Cancun or Progreso, last I heard to be operational mid-2014. The service is for cars and pets as well.
